Constructed with 100% Australian Made and machined 316 Stainless Steel Drum, 6061-T6 Alloy bearing caps and stainless steel oversized bearings, Machined Beveled Edges (TUFF Exclusive). Backed by our 5 year warranty guarantee!
TUFF WINCH features true Italian Made Power Transmissions:
- Anodised Worm Drive Gearbox with stainless steel hub and fixtures (marine graded + oversized). Will stand the test of time against any salt water conditions.
- Powerful IP66 Epoxy-coated 1000w 4 brush DC Motor compliant with the International Protection Regulation Certified IEC/EN 60529 (marine graded + oversized). We don’t use aluminum “protection” sleeves as they are prone to water ingress issues, our motors are designed to get wet!
- Complete rounded transmissions expertly designed for easy and compact installations.
Designed with precision engineering and built to last, the TUFF-200 Heavy Duty suits boats up to 6.5 meters with a holding capacity of up to 3000 kgs and can be mounted in 16 different positions making them versatile for many applications. Holds up to 60m of 6mm double braid nylon rope + 6m of galvanized chain. All Drum Anchoring systems require wiring to operate. TUFF WINCH can be operated from your boat’s main battery supply or a dual-battery supply setup, whatever you prefer!
The installation process for the TUFF WINCH is designed to be simple and efficient for Australian boaters. Once you have chosen and prepared an appropriate mounting location, aligned the winch to your desired position, and completed the wiring and switch installation in accordance with the provided diagram, the final step is to perform operational tests to verify proper functionality. Upon successful testing, the winch is ready for use.

What battery setup do I need?
Our winches run off your main battery supply or a dual setup, so it has versatile suitability to whatever battery arrangement you prefer.
Why are your motors black not stainless?
That's an intentional choice, we utilise an oversized epoxy-coated 4 brush motor on every drum winch for true efficiency and a longer lifespan. Others use aluminium sleeves which put your motor at risk of water ingress or corrosion over time.
Do you offer free fall?
We don't have a free fall feature as standard with our winches are it sacrifices the structural integrity of the unit. They are driven up-down with switches and are very quick however we can customise your winch for this feature if you wish upon request.
How do I activate the warranty?
Your 5 year warranty begins after purchase and you can be rest assured that we backup our warranties in-house with large quantities of any and all components you may need down the track.
Are they easy to install?
Our drum winches are very easy to self install. They can be integrated with any new setup or current setup you may have and both our full kits and standalone units include the core electrical components to get you started. Following along our installation sheet is simple and we have a contact number for you to get support at anytime during installation if you run into any issues.
